Meizu M3 note price, specification and features

Meizu Technology Co. Ltd is a Chinese company based in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Established in 2003 and produces mobiles and music players. It entered the smartphones arena in the year 2008.

Meizu is coming back in the battle with its new Meizu M3 Note. The Chinese consumer electronics giant has officially announced. The launch of the new phone was taken place at Beijing National Convention Center in April this year. The date clashes with the Huawei’s launch of its flagship P9 smart phone. The experts hope that Meizu M3 will be a worthy successor to the popular M2 model.

Like any other mobile phone maker the details of the new model has been kept secretive but few leaks and numerous rumors have given a considerable hint of the specifications and looks of the new phone. However it’s likely to bear resemblance to its predecessor M2.

M3 Note is rumored to be an aluminum alloy design giving the users an incredible feel while holding the phone. The unibody will make the phone lighter and elegant. The phone will weigh 160 gms with 8.2mm thickness. It will be available in three colors of golden, silver and grey

Rumors speculate the screen size of M3 to be anywhere between 5 inches to 5.5 inches and we believe 5.5 inches is to be most likely size. The 1080p touch screen with full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels supports ‘Flyme Assistive Touch’ along with MiraVision 2.0 display with some 400ppi. The company claims the screen will drain less battery alongside crystal clear images. The phone also incorporates the finger print sensor.

Now regarding the heart of the mobile phones i.e. the processor, its speculated that M3 Note will have MediTek Helio P10 chipset with 2GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and the Mali-T860MP2 GPU. It will sport a preinstalled Andriod 5.1 Lollipop OS.

With 2 GB RAM, it will come in 16 GB / 32GB internal memory variants with microSD card for external memory. A 4100mAh battery will power the mobile phone. It’s claimed to last for 12 hours while normal usage will extend it to 2 days.

Meizu M3 Note is rumored to offer something interesting and tempting for mobile photography aficionados as well. The rear camera with 13 MP, f/ 2.2 aperture, 5 element lens and two tone flash light is claimed to produce high clarity pictures. It will also to have a Corning Gorilla III glass as per the speculations. The front camera will be 5 MP with f/2.0 aperture and a 4 element lens.

The Meizu M3 note is rumored to be priced at $ 124 for 16 GB and $ 155 for the 32 GB variant.

The preliminary leaks, rumors and internet forum gossips make it a typical value for money phone. But will Meizu able to repeat its success of its M2 model, is a wait and watch game.
